A Wild Arty Day Out – 24 September

To celebrate the start of Somerset Arts Week we have a ‘Wild Art’ theme to our September event. Discover using natural materials to create nature-inspired sculpture, make painting pigments out of local soils and foraged fruits, learn to use hand-tools to make simple crafts… plus the usual pond-dipping, environmental games and trails and trailer-rides across the reserve.

FREE, drop-in family event.

No booking necessary.

No need to book just come along on the day between 10.00am and 4.00pm. For further information contact Ella Hayden by e-mail: ella.hayden@naturalengland.org.uk or telephone 01458 860120. This is a free family event for all ages. The Avalon Marshes Centre is suitable for those with mobility issues. The site has a cafe, craft shop and toilet facilities.
