An exhibition of new work at Somerset Crafts. Based upon the poem by John Keats, this will be an exhibition of new work starting with a special demonstration day on Saturday 8th September where you can come along to meet some of the artists & craftspeople.
Also at the Avalon Marshes Centre on Saturday September 8th (between 10am – 3pm) Shapwick Heath Heritage NNR Open Day (free entry, drop in event) At this event you can visit the historical reconstructions of a Roman Villa & a Saxon Feasting Hall, based upon the archaeological remains found in the area. Somerset Levels & Moors archaeologist Dr. Richard Brunning will be talking about the buildings and their construction and re-enactors will bring them alive. More information here.
