RoAM: Beetle Traps and Pooters – 12th January

For people serious about identifying beetles and small invertebrates on the wing, join Recorders of the Avalon Marshes (RoAM) veteran ‘Beetle Bill’ Urwin to spend a day in the Lifelong Learning Centre learning how to make various invertebrate-catching devices from some pretty basic household & garden materials.

RoAM is a volunteer group who study and record the vast range of flora and fauna species to be found on the nature reserves of the Avalon Marshes.


Places limited, booking essential. RoAM events are free to attend as our aim is to educate and attract more people into the wildlife recording community. There is full access for those with limited mobility and wheelchair users and on-site public toilets and cafe facilities.
