Young Wardens: Bushcraft skills – 25 October

Learn some Bushcraft Skills with Natural England, make a campfire from scratch and use a range of hand-tools to create woodland bivouacs and shelters in our woodland glade.

Young Wardens is a programme of activities designed for 12-17 year olds. It covers a range of practical skills useful for those interested in wildlife, conservation work and perhaps future study or employment in these areas – or just for enjoyment!

Each year there are sessions on aspects of practical land management, species surveying and identifying, understanding the heritage of our landscape and more. Individual sessions can be attended, or the programme booked as a whole to gain a certificate.
