Key information
If you’re planning a visit, you can book a volunteer guide for a 3 hour guided walk! We’ll tailor each walk to suit your needs and focus on the wildlife you want to see (as the wildlife is, well, wild, we can’t always guarantee what you’ll see, but we’ll try our hardest).
A very special present – our bookable bespoke walks make an excellent gift for nature lovers!
COST
Booking is essential – this is a ticket only event. Advance booking only at least a week before the date of the walk. You can book any of the pre-arranged dates available. A bookable bespoke walk costs £64.75 (for RSPB members – at least one member per booking) and £80.75 (for non-RSPB members) for up to six people.
Please note booking fees apply and are included in the prices.
Car Parking is available in the large RSPB car park but please note that car parking charges apply to non-RSPB members (£3 all day). RSPB members display membership card on dashboard for free parking.
ACCESSIBILTY
Sturdy walking shoes are required. The walk includes rough and uneven grass paths unsuitable for wheels. Suitable for ages 10+. For more information on accessibility at Ham Wall please see https://www.accessibilityguides.org/content/rspb-ham-wall-0.
Please note that dogs are not permitted to join any of the sessions.
Please arrive at least 5 minutes before the start of the session to register with staff. Don’t forget to wrap up warm and be prepared for a little mud (which can make it even more fun!).
