Have you ever wondered why bird’s sing at dawn during spring time? Could you tell the difference between a robins or a great tits song?
Join us for a treasure hunt around the Mini Marshes at RSPB Ham Wall as we try to find out which bird is calling for a mate, and collect more exciting facts about the dawn chorus along the way! For example, which birds could be part of a classical opera, and which ones are repetitive?
This is a fun, family activity designed to give you knowledge on the different birds which sing during the dawn chorus. We won’t be up with the lark for this event – it will be taking place during the day after the dawn chorus has finished.
This event is aimed at families with children aged between 5-12 years. Children will need to be supervised at all times by an adult (aged 18+).
For full information, please check the ticket attached to your booking confirmation email.
