Children’s Nature Journaling Workshop

Calling all young nature enthusiasts! Join us for a fun and creative Nature Journaling Workshop at the Avalon Marshes Centre, specially designed for children aged 6-13 years. Run by Wilderness Warriors on behalf of Natural England, this workshop offers a unique opportunity for kids to connect with nature through art.

Nature journaling is a fantastic way for young nature and art lovers to explore their creativity while deepening their understanding of the natural world. The workshop will help develop their observation, drawing and painting skills through creating a nature sketchbook. This session will give children the opportunity to explore Shapwick Heath NNR and the pond at the Avalon Marshes Centre, to discover the flora and fauna in their local area. They can record their findings whilst exploring their creativity, forging a bond with the natural world.

Don’t miss this chance to inspire your child’s love for both art and the environment!
