
Join Victoria Hillman and delve into the world of macro photography in the field. From where to look and how to find subjects through to how to photograph them in their natural habitat causing minimal disturbance. We will look at different ideas and techniques from close-ups to in habitat images and how and when to use additional light without using a flash. We’ll be on the lookout for plants, invertebrates and even frogs and toads to photograph.
Victoria is a Wildlife Researcher, Photographer, Artist, Writer and Guide. She will be running courses at Ham Wall later in the year on ‘Introduction to Wildlife Photography’ and ‘Photographing Autumn’. Discover more of her work here:

ACCESSIBILTY
The workshop takes place across rough and uneven terrain, including patches of long grass unsuitable for wheels. There may also be some optional laying on the ground. There will be prolonged periods of standing and some walking involved.
