Come and meet the birds from by Pitcombe Rock Falconry. Learn about the incredible skills that make them some of the most powerful predators on Earth

At Somerset Rural Life Museum families pay once and can come back as many times as they like! All the daily summer holiday activities are included, alongside a new exhibition by local artists, titled ‘FLOW’. There’s plenty to keep the family occupied all summer long, with the great value Museum Unlimited Annual Pass. There will be a menagerie of animals to meet including donkeys, ponies, shire horses and birds of prey. Local artists will be delivering imaginative art workshops that explore Somerset’s coast and waterways. There will also be play days exploring what life was like at the Victorian Abbey Farm.

Somerset Rural Life Museum is open Tuesday to Sunday 10.00 am – 5.00 pm. With Museum Unlimited visitors pay once then visit for a whole year free of charge. Adults £8.50/concessions £6.95/children £4.00/Under 5s FREE. The Grain Store Cafe is open serving delicious locally-sourced food and drink.
