Walk & Waddle is a gentle, pram‑friendly outdoor walking group for parents, carers, and their young children, offering time to slow down, enjoy nature, and connect with others during the early years.
Led by Rooted Together Network, the sessions are based on the belief that community, calm, and shared experience support both adults and children alike.
Set within Shapwick Heath National Nature Reserve, the programme consists of nine slow, accessible walks along pram‑friendly paths, suitable for buggies and little legs. The unhurried pace allows families to notice seasonal changes, explore nature together, and spend time outdoors comfortably.
Sessions are gently guided, with space for relaxed conversation, shared reflection, and quiet moments, supporting wellbeing for both adults and children.
